Legal Escrow & Arbitration Services Limited (trading as LE&AS) delivers software escrow solutions and provides (i) information via its website for general users (“Website”) (ii) use of a management system for its customers through a secure hosted platform (“Customer Portal”).

This cookie policy relates to information that may be stored in your browser while using the Website or on your computer through your use of the Customer Portal.

Cookies are used by websites to store small amounts of information in your browser. Information from them is passed to the website every time you communicate with the website. Cookies may be used for authentication, for analytics, or for identifying you – sometimes for the purposes of tracking where you have come from before visiting and where you go after visiting a website.

 

• The Customer Portal uses a cookie-agreed-version which records that someone has accepted the use of cookies in the Customer Portal and a PHP Session which authenticates the log in / password that you use to access the Customer Portal and which enables you to access content specific to you. These cookies are necessary for the proper operation and correct functioning of the Customer Portal and therefore you must accept use of these cookies to be able to use the Customer Portal.
• The Website and Customer Portal use the following cookies which are essential for the operation of the Website and the Customer Portal

_gat	1 minute	Used to throttle request rate. If Google Analytics is deployed via Google Tag Manager, this cookie will be named _dc_gtm_<property-id>.
AMP_TOKEN	30 seconds to 1 year	Contains a token that can be used to retrieve a Client ID from AMP Client ID service. Other possible values indicate opt-out, inflight request or an error retrieving a Client ID from AMP Client ID service.
_gac_<property-id>	90 days	Contains campaign related information. If you have linked your Google Analytics and Google Ads accounts, Google Ads website conversion tags will read this cookie unless you opt-out.

 

• Information collected about your access and use of the Website or Customer Portal via cookies will only be stored in the LE&AS logs of system activity. These logs are only visible to authorised individuals within LE&AS or its support staff. The record of your activity in the logs may remain for some time after your last use of the system. However, the logs are regularly rotated and so new log entries will eventually replace the old entries. On most servers this will occur within nine months. 
• You can remove cookies at any time by clearing your browser cookies but be aware this will log you out of the Customer Portal. New cookies will be created as soon as you log back in.
